Squarespace Web Designer specializing in Mailchimp, Acuity & Dubsado integrations
Artist Illustrator with eCommerce, Events and Classes
Amy needed a website that could showcase the many facets of her business as an illustrator and artist. She offers classes, wholesale paper goods, maintains an Etsy shop and participates in local pop-up and holiday markets. We integrated all of these elements into a single cohesive home-base and even started a small online shop to help her sell her work independently.
Ashley was ready to take control of her website, but it was a Wordpress site and she knew there had to be an easier way. She reached out to me to share her concerns about potentially trading off her SEO ranking for a more user-friendly platform like Squarespace - but I assured here we could make the move seamless.
Curtis & Cake is an independent, small-batch cake and sweets studio run by Monica OConnell. She was looking for an easy way to connnect with their community. I created a uniquely branded and precision-timed marketing pop-up for her Squarespace website. I also integrated an automated Mailchimp Welcome Email and Blog Post Auto-mailer. I created a Newsletter Template that was flexible and allowed her to reach out to her client list with her specials, stories or whatever was on her mind.
Brice of Obvious Wines was about to have an exciting weekend - he was being featured on Shark Tank. Before the big day, he wanted to make sure his website was ready for the spotlight.
I moved him from a retired Squarespace template to a more modern and eCommerce friendly one. I went through his site and make sure we took advantage of his new modern features - like parallax scrolling. I also added some custom code to ensure his site was compliant with age verification entry. We added a marketing pop-up and some other sweet features.
Lynn Falconer is a costume designer for film, television and commercial productions. She needed a portfolio site that would allow her work to shine through in both photographs and video. We worked to ensure that her website would load quickly in spite of the great number of images in her portfolio. We created Press Page that allowed full articles to be read within the site. Her Resume page includes the ability to download her resume as a PDF for easy printing.
Simone wanted a website with a modern look that would feature the beautiful images and videos from her families philanthropic work in DC and around the world.
We took down her old Wordpress site and breathed new life into their look with a new color scheme and created a beautiful new design in Squarespace. Simone uses the guide videos, which I create at the close of every project, to keep her Squarespace site up to date with new projects and imagery.
Tom Basile’s team approached me to revamp his Squarespace website with the goals of making it easy for his supporters to both volunteer and make donations to his campaign. Tom was about to announce his candidacy for the 39th District Senate seat in NY and he needed a flexible and user friendly platform to connect with his supporters.
Emily’s custom gown website EdieKaye.com featured a gorgeous splash page image. But she wanted her customers to be able to learn more about her and her business without leaving her homepage. Her customer journey would start by showcasing her beautiful gowns and then sharing about herself and finally inviting them to her portfolio.
Empire Solutions needed a revamp of their aging website. They wanted to emulate the layout and functionality of the Political Website I designed for them. Their new design has a wonderful hat tip to their New York roots with it’s iconic imagery.
I reconstructed their old site on Squarespace giving it a fresh layout, graphics and contemporary font selection.
Emil of Trimat Materials Testing had a great start on his website but he wanted a more cohesive look and a better user experience on the website. I jumped in and implemented a more cohesive color palette and font selection and helped streamline his site’s layout and pages to ensure their customer could find just what they were looking for.
